Asad
The bestseller. Black pepper and pineapple on top, coffee, patchouli and iris in the heart, amber, vanilla and dry woods underneath. It is unmistakably a compliment-getter and shares its DNA with Sauvage Elixir while outlasting it. Too much for a hot office, perfect for a winter evening. Two sprays.
Fakhar Black
The safe bet. Crisp green apple and bergamot, clary sage and lavender, then amberwood and a clean musk. It reads fresh and well-dressed rather than loud, works in every season including Karachi summer, and nobody has ever complained about it in a meeting. If you are buying one men’s fragrance for everything, this is it.
His Confession
The grown-up. Cinnamon bark over a cool Tuscan iris, with benzoin and a thread of incense smoke in the base. It is the most refined of the three and the one fragrance enthusiasts tend to prefer. Autumn and winter, dinners and dates, a fragrance people lean in to smell rather than notice across the room.
The verdict
- One bottle for everything: Fakhar Black.
- Compliments at evening events: Asad.
- Something refined that few others wear: His Confession.
- Two bottles: Fakhar Black for day and Asad for night is the combination we recommend most.
