What works in humidity

Heat amplifies sweetness, so a fragrance that feels balanced in January can feel syrupy in June. Fresh compositions built on citrus, aquatic notes and ambroxan behave the opposite way. They lift in heat and project further without turning heavy.

Kaaf is the one we recommend most for Karachi. Watermelon and sea breeze over a strong ambroxan base, with performance that has no business being this good for a fresh scent. Chill Spectrum and Blue by Ahmed are its lighter, more casual cousins. For women, Yara Tous brings mango and coconut without becoming cloying.

Kaaf by Ahmed Al Maghribi. We measured ten to fourteen hours on skin, which is exceptional for a fresh fragrance. Art of Nature II from Lattafa Pride is a close second at ten hours or more.
You can, but keep it to air-conditioned evenings. In direct heat the dates and vanilla become very sweet and very loud. Summer Oud or Teriaq are warmer options that still behave in the heat.
