Gift guide

The perfume gift guide: what to give, for whom, without guessing

Perfume is the gift people are most afraid to buy. It should not be. Arabian houses make crowd-pleasers in beautiful boxes, and a few rules make the choice nearly foolproof.

Three rules for gifting perfume

  1. Choose the popular one. A fragrance loved by thousands is loved for a reason. This is not the moment for an acquired taste.
  2. Match the season. A heavy gourmand in June or a light citrus in December will sit unused until the weather turns.
  3. Judge the box. A gift is opened before it is worn. Lattafa and Ahmed Al Maghribi boxes are heavy, lined and impressive, which does half your work.

Gifting on a budget

Original does not mean expensive. Eclaire, Angham, Al Nashama and Oud Mood Elixir all sit well under Rs. 7,000 and arrive in boxes that suggest otherwise. Our under Rs. 7,000 collection has the full list.

How gift delivery works

Enter the recipient’s address at checkout and keep your own number as the WhatsApp contact. We confirm the order with you, pack the sealed box in an unmarked carton, and can add a handwritten note if you type it in the Note field. Karachi orders usually arrive in 1 to 2 days. Lahore, Islamabad and other cities take 2 to 4 working days with tracked courier.

Questions about this

Yara by Lattafa is the safest choice: sweet, soft, hugely popular and in a pretty bottle. Angham if she prefers elegance over sweetness, Yara Tous if the gift is for summer.
Asad for evenings and compliments, Fakhar Black for daily wear. Both come in heavy black boxes that look far more expensive than they are.
Yes. Put the recipient’s address at checkout, keep your number for confirmation, and add a note if you like. The parcel arrives unmarked with the sealed presentation box inside.
